Things to remember before you go

Going on holiday always requires a lot of planning. Here are some handy tips and helpful links to make it all much easier.

Don't forget to put your lottery numbers on before you go. How gutted would you be if you got home and realised your numbers had come up and you had not bought your ticket!?

Travel Insurance

Heaven forbid that you ever need to use it, but my rather accident prone family have had to rely heavily on travel insurance in the past.
You are covered by the NHS to a certain extent while in Spain, but you will not get all treatments using this. More importantly extended stays for rehab, accommodation for your fellow travellers and most important of all, transport home can only be covered by private travel insurance.

Make life easier for when you get home

While coming home from a holiday last year and frantically unpacking, trying to do washings and coping with the general misery of being back in rain drenched Britain I had to cope with the hassle of hitting the supermarket on a busy Saturday.
While I pondered my hard landing back to reality I struck on an idea - ordering my shopping before going on holiday and having it all delivered to me (while I bunged washing number 3 into the machine).
Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury all do home delivery. Why not give it a go?
