While you wouldn't choose the area purely as a shopping destination - New York it ain't - shopaholics will not suffer withdrawal symptoms while on holiday in the area.

Shopping in Murcia City

Murcia city is not only beautiful but also provides good shopping.
As well as a large El Corte Ingles the city boasts numerous upmarket shops with stylish offerings.
Spanish kidswear is to die for and there is plenty of choice.
Calle Jaboneria is particularly reknowned for its delightful little, individual boutiques where you can find something special.
You can stop off at one of the many street cafes and rest your weary feet during a combined shopping and site seeing tour of the city.

Shopping in Cartagena

The old Roman city of Cartagena is a fascinating day out. While checking out the Roman ruins and spotting some of the cruise and naval ships in the port you could try some retail therapy.
The city has lots of high street names, a large El Corte Ingles, numerous boutiques and a large out of town Mall close to the AP7 coastal road.

Shopping on the Costa Calida

You'll find a market somewhere on the coast any day of the week and lots of little village stores.
There are plenty of supermarkets to choose from and chains such as Mercadona aplenty.
In addition to the large Mall in Cartagena on the coastal road there is a smaller mall, Dos Mares (Two Seas) just off junction 777 of the AP7. It offers a large supermarket, many clothes and gift stores, 10 pin bowling and a food court.
